During our trip, we stayed at Happy Horizon Home Stay for a couple of nights. The hosts, Chandy and her family, were thoughtful and helpful. The accommodation was immaculately clean and the Sri Lankan breakfast served was large and delicious. The nearby restaurant offered terrific curry, making it a convenient option on rainy nights. The room had a beautiful setting with views of the waterfall, a cozy outdoor area with a hammock, and comfortable beds. Chandy and her family were welcoming and provided great advice for exploring the area. The massages offered by Chandy were incredible.
Would recommend this hotel.

just had the best time at a guesthouse in ella. the breakfast was amazing and the room was spacious and clean. loved the privacy and the beautiful views of the jungle. chandy, the host, was so nice and made us feel at home. can't wait to go back!
No proper road to the guesthouse.

Spent New Year's at this place and it was a blast! The hosts were super friendly and made the festivities even more enjoyable. The food was absolutely delicious, especially the special New Year's dinner they prepared. The location was perfect, with easy access to all the nearby attractions and a stunning view of the surrounding landscape. Plus, they had a tuk-tuk service that came in handy for exploring the area.
The noise level during New Year's celebrations. It was quite loud and went on late into the night, making it difficult to get a good night's sleep.

Spacious room, well-designed terrace. Delicious breakfast with nature sounds. Beautiful view, 10-15 minute walk from town. Helpful with travel arrangements. Prepared for power cuts with generator and rechargeable lamp.
